A LINE Mini App
a full storefront inside Thailand's main app
A LINE Mini App gives a bigger catalogue or a fuller booking system a real interface: scrolling, filtering, a visual cart. It lives inside LINE, where most of your Thai customers already spend their day, so nobody has to install a separate app.
What it is and who it’s for
A LINE Mini App is a full web interface, a real catalogue, a cart, a booking calendar, opening directly from your LINE Official Account. A customer never has to leave LINE or install anything separate.
It suits a business whose catalogue or booking complexity has outgrown a simple chat flow. Customers should be mostly in Thailand, where LINE is already how people talk to businesses day to day.
If your catalogue is small and simple, a LINE OA shop and booking bot running as a chat flow is faster and cheaper to build. The Mini App earns its cost once browsing, filtering or a bigger product range genuinely need a real interface instead of a sequence of messages.
What’s inside the app
A customer taps into the Mini App from your OA’s rich menu and gets a real storefront or booking system. Categories, search, a persistent cart, checkout through PromptPay or a card processor. It all runs inside LINE’s own webview, with no separate login. LINE’s own session carries through automatically.
An admin panel handles catalogue updates, order or booking management, and role-based access so staff see only what their role needs.
We built this exact stack, PromptPay, LINE login, Thai address handling, for a D2C retail brand’s mobile-first store. It ran with 106 backend tests on the order and payment paths, and a catalogue cleaned up into clear, easy-to-browse product lines. A Mini App applies the same catalogue and payment discipline inside LINE’s own interface instead of a standalone website.
How we build it
We design for LINE’s webview constraints specifically: fast load on mobile networks, no dependency on browser features LINE’s in-app view doesn’t fully support. That’s different from porting a generic web app and hoping it behaves the same way. LINE login integration is handled first, since it changes the account and session model from a typical web store. A returning customer should never have to log in twice.
Payment integration is tested against real PromptPay transactions before launch. We hold the build to the same mobile performance bar as any e-commerce project: 90-plus on Lighthouse mobile. A slow Mini App inside an already-open app loses a buyer even faster than a slow website does. Deployment, monitoring and a handover document come with every build.
We also plan the data model for growth past launch: new categories, a loyalty mechanic added later, a second payment method. That way the second year of changes doesn’t mean rebuilding what the first year already got right.
Price and timeline
| Tier | Price | Timeline | What changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| MVP | from $4,500 | 6 to 9 weeks | One core flow, one channel, enough to go live and test demand |
| Production | from $8,200 | 8 to 12 weeks | Full flow, admin tools, integrations, monitoring, ready for real volume |
| Full control, handover-ready | from $9,200 | 10 to 14 weeks | Same build, plus documentation, test coverage and a handover package so any developer can take over, not just us |
Running cost depends on hosting and payment volume. We size it with you once the catalogue and expected traffic are defined.
What you own at the end
The full Mini App codebase, the backend, the database with every product, order or booking, and the deployment configuration. The build runs on your own infrastructure, not inside a LINE mini-site template you cannot extend.

FAQ
How much does a LINE Mini App cost?
A catalogue or booking Mini App with one payment method and a basic admin panel starts at $4,500 and takes six to nine weeks. A larger catalogue with loyalty, promotions and multiple payment methods runs $7,000 to $13,000.
How is a Mini App different from a LINE OA chat bot?
A chat bot works through messages. A Mini App is a real web interface, opened from the OA, with scrolling, filtering and a visual cart. It suits a bigger catalogue or a booking system with more complexity than a chat flow handles well.
Does LINE login carry over automatically?
Yes. A user already logged into LINE opens the Mini App already identified, with no separate signup step, which is a real conversion advantage over a generic web store.
Who owns the Mini App and its data after launch?
You do. The Mini App, the backend and the database are yours, deployed on infrastructure in your name, not running inside a template builder.
Can it support PromptPay and loyalty points together?
Yes, both are standard requests for a Thailand-facing Mini App and are built in as configuration rather than bolted on afterward.
